This Advent Calendar was designed by Brooke Rothshank and printed at Laughing Owl Press on the letterpress. The top of the calendar is an original letterpress print. The interior of the calendar is laser cut nativity figures, designed to pop out and fold into a Nativity Scene. Day One begins with the North Star!

Opening an advent calendar has been One of my favorite Christmas traditions both as a child and with my own children. I enjoy having a reason to pause each day especially when the schedule begins to fill. I wanted to make an advent calendar that honors the anticipation of advent while also encouraging interactive play.
Behind each window is a pop out component of a Nativity Scene. Each component can be folded for upright display. Over the course of Advent your scene will grow, coming to completion on Christmas Day.
